Quickmarks


  • Where to find it: 

    • Main Window / Nodegraph Palette


  • Shortcut (Nodegraph Only):  

    • Press Alt+Ctrl+<Number> to assign a Quickmark while your cursor is in the Nodegraph
    • Press Ctrl+<Number> to jump to a saved location






The Nodegraph Quickmark System allows you to quickly bookmark any Graph Location and rapidly  jump in between them.

It works completely independent of Graph Hierarchy Level or Object you are on .. Extension Pack will manage selecting objects or opening Subgraphs for you.



Extension Pack adds 5 new Buttons to the top of the Nodegraph Palette


To use the buttons to control Quickmarks


  • Ctrl + Click on a button to set a quickmark or overwrite an existing one. The button will turn blue indicating a quickmark is set



  • Simply click on the button to jump to the saved location

  • To clear a Button assignment, Shift-click on the button


The Tooltip on the buttons will indicate what Geometry the Quickmark is set on and will show you all relevant hotkeys




To use the hotkeys only to control Quickmarks


  • Press Alt+Ctrl+<Number> to assign a Quickmark while your cursor is in the Nodegraph
  • Press Ctrl+<Number> to jump to a saved location


Your hotkeys are freely customizable via the Mari Hotkey Editor 



To use the menu to control Quickmarks right mouse click in the Nodegraph and use the Actions found

in the Bookmarks Menu




Extension Pack comes with a pre-made hotbox to control Quickmarks, however a shortcut is not assigned by default



To assign a shortcut


  1. navigate to the Hotbox Manager under the Edit Menu


  1. Locate the EP_Quickmarks Hotbox




  1. In the Hotbox Settings on the right side click on Shortcut / Set



  1. Optionally switch to "Nodegraph Only" Context to assign a Shortcut that only works when the cursor is in the Nodegraph




  1. Assign a shortcut and confirm
