TDR CONFIGURATION

TDR Checks can be disabled permanently by setting the following Environment Variable  to 'True' or '1'

    • MARI_EP_PREVENT_TDR_CHECK


Follow the steps below to change the TDR Values in your windows registry to prevent long running calculations from

crashing your VIdeo Card drivers:


a) Open the Registry


  1. Click on 'Start'


  1. Type 'Registry'


  1. Open the 'Registry Editor'


  1. Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers


b) Add TdrDelay


  1. Right Mouse Click and choose 'DWORD (32-bit) Value'


  1. Name the new Entry 'TdrDelay'


  1. Double Click on the new Entry


  1. In the Settings Dialog choose 'Decimal' and in the Number Field enter 60


  1. Confirm the Dialog with OK


c) Add TdrDdiDelay


  1. Right Mouse Click and choose again  'DWORD (32-bit) Value'


  1. Name the new Entry 'TdrDdiDelay'


  1. Double Click on the new Entry


  1. In the Settings Dialog choose 'Decimal' and in the Number Field enter 60


d) Confirm and Reboot


  1. Confirm the Dialog with OK


  1. Reboot your machine
