Select closest node to Cursor

    • Select closest Node to Cursor (+ view Properties)              E
    • Select closest Node to Cursor and view                              SHIFT+E
    • Select closest Node to Cursor                                            CTRL+E




"Select closest node to cursor" and related methods allow you to quickly select and view nodes based on your cursor position. 

While is sounds like a minor addition, it is a very intuitive and hand-stress reducing method to select nodes.

Pressing Hotkey "E" will select the closest node to your cursor and view its node properties


  • Shortcut (Nodegraph Only):   SHIFT + E


Pressing Hotkey "SHIFT+E" will select the closest node to your cursor,view its node properties and attach a viewer


  • Shortcut (Nodegraph Only):   CTRL+E


If you rather have a way to select the closest node without opening the associated Node Properties, you can assign a hotkey to the action via the shortcut editor
