Node Selection Management

Extension Pack adds a variety of Node Selection Methods to the Nodegraph:

Will select all Nodes in the currently open Nodegraph Tab

  • Shortcut (Nodegraph Only):  non assigned


Will deselect all Nodes in the currently open Nodegraph Tab

Will select the closest Node to your cursor and show its Node Properties

  • Shortcut (Nodegraph Only):  Shift+E


Will select the closest Node to your cursor, show its Node Properties and attach a viewer

  • Shortcut (Nodegraph Only):  Ctrl+Left


Select all Nodes upstream (to the left) of the current node.

To select only Nodes directly affecting the current node (i.e. Node is not disabled or on bypass), use Hotkey SHIFT+Ctrl+Left.

Select all Nodes upstream (to the left) of the current node but stop before any Teleport Receivers or Radio Nodes

Select all Nodes upstream (to the left) of the current node but stop after any Teleport Receivers or Radio Nodes

Select next node to the left (upstream) of the currently selected node

Select nodes upstream of the current node (to the left of the current node), that are part of the current stream and affect
the current node (e.g. not bypassed or disabled)

  • Shortcut (Nodegraph Only):  Ctrl+Right


Select all Nodes downstream (to the right) of the current node.

To select only Nodes directly interacting with the current node (i.e. Node is not disabled or on bypass), use Hotkey SHIFT+Ctrl+Right

Select next node to the right (downstream) of the currently selected node

  • Shortcut (Nodegraph Only):  Ctrl+Shift+Right


Select nodes downstream of the current node (to the right of the current node), that are part of the current stream and interact with
the current node (e.g. not bypassed or disabled).

  • Shortcut (Nodegraph Only):  Down


Select the next sibling node of the selected node. Sibling nodes are nodes on the same hierarchical level under the same parent node.

  • Shortcut (Nodegraph Only):  Up


Select the previous sibling node of the selected node. Sibling nodes are nodes on the same hierarchical level under the same parent node.

  • Shortcut (Nodegraph Only):  Ctrl + Shift + Space


Select all Nodes between the currently selected nodes

  • Shortcut (Nodegraph Only):  non assigned


Select all Paint Nodes in the current Nodegraph

Select all Bake Point Nodes and Multi Channel Bake Point Nodes in the current Nodegraph

Select all Channel Nodes in the current Nodegraph

Will select any custom Nodes in your current Nodegraph Tab that are not standard Mari Nodes.

A dialog will appear giving information about quantity and type of nodes.

Will select all Nodes that are of the same type (e.g. Merge Node) as the currently selected Node

Will select all Nodes that are in the same UI Category as the currently selected Node (e.g. part of the Filter Submenu)
